• The Furix Aerosol Chamber is a veterinary medical device specifically designed to assist in the effective delivery of inhaled medications to cats and dogs.

• It is intended to be used along with a metered dose inhaler (MDI) as prescribed by a veterinarian.

• The chamber allows aerosol medication to be inhaled slowly and deeply, ensuring maximum lung deposition and minimal medication loss.

Medical Applications / Uses-

• Used in animals suffering from:

  • Chronic bronchitis

  • Tracheal collapse

  • Laryngeal paralysis

  • Other respiratory disorders requiring inhalation therapy

Working Principle & Functionality-

• Medication is released from the inhaler into the chamber.

• As the animal inhales, the inhalation valve opens, allowing aerosol medication to flow toward the lungs.

• The extra-sensitive flow indicator moves with each breath, showing inhalation and exhalation clearly.

• During exhalation, air exits through the exhalation valve, preventing rebreathing.

• The flow indicator helps monitor:

  • Breathing pattern

  • Number of breaths taken

  • Proper medication intake

Mask & Fit System-

• Supplied with 3 interchangeable mask sizes

Direction for Use-

1. Remove the cap and shake the inhaler well

2. Insert inhaler into the backpiece of the chamber

3. Gently apply the mask to the cat’s or dog’s face

4. Press the inhaler when the flow indicator moves toward the animal

5. Hold the mask in place for 5–6 breaths

Cleaning & Maintenance Instructions-

• Remove backpiece, mask, and adapter (do not remove valves)

• Soak parts in lukewarm water with liquid detergent for 15 minutes

• Rinse thoroughly with clean water

• Shake off excess water (do not rub)

• Air dry vertically until completely dry

• Reassemble once dry and ready for next use
